Integrating a Framework for Intensive Trauma Counseling into your Practice
Therapists bring HOPE as we help clients Come together, Accept supportive resources, and Realign for success. When you join us for this 3-day training, You will learn a comprehensive Research-Informed framework to help you as you serve clients who have experienced trauma.
This is an advanced level training, however, you may participate even if you have not been trained in a trauma processing protocol. It is understood that You would be able to use Phases 1 thru 3 in your practice as you prepare and refer clients for Phases 4 and 5. The C.A.R. Framework can be used by trauma therapists as well as school counselors and social workers to collaborate and provide clients with continuity of care. The training in May will be held at Sawnee Mountain Preserve on Spot Road in Cumming, GA. Early Registration pricing ends on March 31st.
18 CORE Hours in-person (synchronous) contact hours of continuing education have been approved by the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia (LPCA CE Approval #2023-03-13-472S). Core CEs may require approval for the CE activity by an association or licensing board that is specific to your license type, but this is not always the case, and even so, the Contact Hours in this workshop can be counted as “Related” hours rather than “Core” for Georgia LCSWs and LMFTs. According to the GA Composite Board Rules, up to 1/2 of your remaining 30 CE hours can be Related or Core after completing the required Ethics hours. Please check your state requirements to be sure.
*If you are interested in attending this training June 5-7, 2023 please click on the Are You Coming? tab on the training page and let me know. If there’s enough interest, I will submit these dates for CE approval.
